UA SGA President Jared Hunter was arrested for driving under the influence during the early hours of Sunday morning, former Executive Chief of Staff Caitlin Cobb said. According to the Tuscaloosa County arrest database, Hunter’s bond was posted at $1000.
As of 2:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 21, Hunter was still in custody, Cobb said.
The Crimson White has reached out to Hunter for comment.
Under the SGA constitution, a malfeasance like this could be grounds for impeachment.
