The University of Alabama will maintain regular operations, according to an email sent to students early Friday morning.
“A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for Tuscaloosa until 6 p.m. today,” the email read. “However, the temperature in Tuscaloosa and on campus is expected to stay above freezing.”
In the email, students living in areas south of Tuscaloosa – which are under a Winter Weather Warning – were encouraged to decide if traveling to campus was safe.
“Contact your professors directly if you must miss class due to inclement weather,” the email read.
