Alabama sophomore offensive lineman Jonah Williams was named SEC Offensive Lineman of the Week after Alabama’s 41-9 win over Arkansas. It is the second time Williams has received the award, and the third overall time he has been honored with a weekly award by the SEC.
Williams was instrumental on the left side of the line as Alabama gained 308 yards on the ground and 496 yards total. Williams had four knockdown blocks and did not allow a sack or even a quarterback hurry.
Williams’ last honor came after Alabama’s 48-10 win over Tennessee in 2016 when he was a freshman. Alabama hosts Tennessee this week.
