- “Norse Mythology,” by Neil Gaiman – At this point, Neil Gaiman can do no wrong. Now he’s taken stories that are thousands of years old and made them accessible to contemporary readers. The Norse gods are flawed and often times greedy and Gaiman makes sure that they bleed with human qualities on every page. It’s a quick read and great for those interested in myths.
- “One Day We’ll Be Dead and None of This Will Matter,” by Scaachi Koul – Indian-Canadian writer Scaachi Koul brings a heavy dose of humor and heart with this collection of essays about her life. She pokes fun at her life and the lives of others. For instance, she trashes people who travel so they can “find” themselves.
- “It,” by Stephen King – It is back, it’s relevant again and proves that King is still a great horror writer in 2017. Fall is here so give this classic another look while it’s still on the collective conscience.
