A flier for an influential white supremacist group was found in Farrah Hall Monday morning. 

The Identity Evropa flier was hanging on the main second-floor bulletin board, and it has since been removed and replaced with a flyer for Nameless Opposition, a campus group that is against violent extremism. 

Identity Evropa, which participated in the protests in Charlottesville, has been criticized for its white nationalist ideals which are hidden under a message of European pride. 

According to information from the Anti-Defamation League, Identity Evropa has posted fliers on a dozen college campuses since the start of the 2017-2018 school year. 

The poster included a picture of Identity Evropa founder Nathan Damigo speaking into a megaphone, with the words “Our Generation, Our Future, Our Last Chance.” The flier is part of a supposed recruitment shift from the group’s previous fliers that used images of Greek and Roman statues. 

“They’re no longer hiding behind images of statues,” Marilyn Mayo, senior research fellow at the ADL’s Center on Extremism, told Newsweek. “but showing people who are out there, in the streets, taking action.”
