The University of Alabama’s Office of Student Conduct, is still declining to release the contents of the Office’s investigation into SGA President Jared Hunter’s campaign.
“The University will not release Office of Student Conduct records that include student information subject to protection under federal and state privacy laws as well as University policies,” read the University’s statement.
Last week, The Crimson White revealed that Hunter signed away his FERPA rights in order to campaign for SGA president. After continued scrutiny during the week, Hunter discussed the 45 hours of community service and research hours he was given as a result of the OSC investigation during last week’s SGA Senate meeting.
Hunter said last week he has set his sights on governing and hopes students will turn their attention to what is important for campus.
