Before practice on Monday, Alabama coach Nick Nick Saban said starting offensive guard Alphonse “Shank” Taylor and linebacker Reuben Foster sustained concussions during the game against Arkansas last Saturday. Both players wore black non-contact uniforms at practice that day during the media availability.
Additional practice notes:
- O.J. Howard was working separate from the other tight ends during the media availability. He caught passes from an assistant coach.
- Saban was working with the defensive backs once again, throwing passes to them during one-on-one coverage drills.
