Oops! Susan Boyle did it again. The singing sensation will score yet another number one album. HITS Daily Double is reporting with first day sales that her second album, “The Gift,” is projected to debut with 300K+. Compared to her debut album, “I Dreamed a Dream,” which sold 701K in its first week, “The Gift” is mediocre, but, still, a number one is a number one.

The Britian’s Got Talent contestant isn’t alone at the top. America’s Got Talent contestant Jackie Evancho, a 10-year-old prodigy, is poised to debut at number two with her debut album, “Prelude to a Dream.” Now tell me that Simon Cowell doesn’t have an eye for talent! Oh wait, Lee Dewyze’s album is set to sell between 40-45K. Oh wait, Simon left American Idol.

P!nk, who just announced her pregnancy, is also set to sell 40-45K with her first greatest hits album. Despite apparently abysmal numbers, it’s a minor victory as compilation albums go. They can’t all be Taylor Swift, who will spend yet another week in the top ten with 100K+ units moved. As if a 1M debut wasn’t enough!

This week’s flop goes to Rihanna. Despite two hugely successful singles, not including the mega smash “Love the Way You Lie,” “Loud” will debut with less than 200K. Although it’s slightly above her last LP, “Rated R,” which got smashed last November by Lady GaGa, Adam Lambert, and, oh yea, Susan Boyle, she should still hang her head in shame. Maybe the Barbados native should have made it clear in “What’s My Name?” what her name actually was, because the sales don’t lie!

What’s the story this week? If you’re on a televised talent contest that’s not American Idol — sorry Idols but it’s over — then you’ll be wildly successful! If you’re a well-seasoned pop star, whose name doesn’t begin with a B or end in GaGa, you’re out!

What do you think? Is Susan Boyle overrated? Is Rihanna underrated? Are you asking yourself Jackie Who? Or, have you still not torn yourself away from your from “Speak Now” long enough to know what’s out there?
