NFL teams are starting their push to reach the postseason as the season is now halfway over. Former Alabama standouts are priming themselves for the final stretch, too.
Starting on Thursday, the Tennessee Titans hosted the Jacksonville Jaguars. Reigning Heisman winner Derrick Henry totaled 97 total yards, breaking down into 60 rushing and 37 receiving. He also scored his very first rushing touchdown of his professional career.
The New England Patriots traveled to Buffalo to avenge their only loss on the season. Leading the Patriots’ defense in total tackles was Dont’a Hightower. He finished with four solo and two assisted tackles. He also had this huge hit against Bills running back Mike Gillislee.

The Raiders had a 10-day stay in Florida after playing the Jaguars last week. Amari Cooper enjoyed the stay after accumulating 178 total offensive yards in the two games. Against the Buccaneers, he totaled 10 receptions for a total of 149 yards, which is a new career high, and a touchdown. Cooper is now third on the receiving leaders list with 787 yards on the season.
A’Shawn Robinson totaled four tackles and a sack in the Seattle Seahawks’ loss to the New Orleans Saints.
