According to multiple reports, offensive lineman Lester Cotton was arrested on Friday for possession of marijuana. He was later charged and released on bond.
Cotton started the opener against Southern Cal and the following game against Western Kentucky at left guard. He started at the right guard position against Tennessee, LSU and Texas A&M.
“We are in the process of determining the facts in the situation with Lester Cotton,” Alabama coach Nick Saban said. “We will handle any discipline internally like we have done in the past.”
