Former Alabama basketball player Retin Obasohan will take part in the 2016 Portsmouth Invitational, a four-day 12 game tournament that provides 64 seniors from NCAA programs with an opportunity to compete in front of both NBA and international scouts. The tournament begins on Wednesday, April 13.
Obasohan is the seventh Alabama player to compete in the tournament in the last nine years and the fourth to compete since JaMychal Green did so in 2012. He led Alabama in scoring (17.6 ppg), steals (1.4 spg) and minutes (32.3 mpg) this season. He also scored 20 points or more in 14 games which ranks ninth most in school history for a single season.
