Junior right-hander Sydney Littlejohn (14-2) picked up two national honors when she was named the Louisville Slugger/NFCA National Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday and the ESPNW Player of the Week.
She is the fifth Alabama pitcher to receive the National Fastpitch Coaches’ Association honor, and the first since Jaclyn Traina did in 2014.
Littlejohn shut out then-No. 1 Florida on Sunday after allowing one run on Friday against the Gators in her two wins. She also picked up a win over then-No. 16 Missouri on Monday to secure the series over the Tigers.
