As the 2016 Alabama baseball season starts, here are the policies for the new Sewell-Thomas Stadium:
Student Admission
The Right Field Terrace is the official student section. With a valid Action Card, students can enter at Gate 6, which is near the Coleman Coliseum parking lot, up to two hours before the first pitch is thrown.
The section can hold up to 1,300 students, but no more. Once that number is hit, any extra students will not be allowed to enter. Upon entering, students will be given a wristband. This will serve as their ticket back into the Right Field Terrace if they are to leave for the restrooms or concession stands.
Alcohol Policy
All students will have their ID checked before entering. They will be given a specific wristband to signify whether or not they are over or under 21 years old.
Patrons, including student of age, are allowed to bring beverages in a cooler or bag, but they are not allowed to personally carry in anything.
All alcohol must be drunk from a non-clear cup. Drinking from a can is not allowed, regardless if it’s in a koozie/huggie.
