WHY: “This panel is particularly important because one of the goals of UAFC’s intersectional feminism is to recognize the intersections of every identity with feminism, from sexuality to gender to faith and race,” said Cameron Ridgeway, media and publicity coordinator for the UAFC. “Ability is often overlooked by other feminist organizations, and when we realized we didn’t know enough about the issues facing communities with disabilities, we decided to do something to educate ourselves and the surrounding community by gathering experts in the disability rights movement for an open discussion.”
