The Alabama coaching staff named seven players of the after beating Arkansas 27-14 on Saturday.
Linebacker Reggie Ragland, and defensive linemen Jarran Reed and A’Shawn Robinson represented the defense. Ragland was also recognized by recognized by the SEC this week. Robinson made the list for the second week in a row after he recorded five tackles on Saturday, and Reed was honored for the fifth time this season after he recorded four tackles and one tackle for loss.
Receiver Calvin Ridley and running back Kenyan Drake were selected to represent the offense. Ridley caught a career-high nine passes for a career-high 140 total yards. Drake picked up a total of 66 yards as he worked as a rusher and a pass catcher.
Alabama also honored two players on special teams. Cornerback Cyrus Jones was honored after he returned one of his three punts for season-long 27 yards. Punter JK Scott was also selected after he averaged 50 yards on four punts. One of his punts also went for a season-long 58 yards.
