The Alabama Women’s golf team has moved itself into a great position for the weekend at the Ruth’s Chris Tar Heel Invintational. Just four shots behind last year’s champion Duke, the Crimson Tide is 1-over part after day one for second place.
Janie Jackson, Cheyenne Knight and Cammie Grey all shot even for the day and share the spot of fifth place in the individual standings. Lakareber Abe and Emma Talley both shot 1-over par.
Alabama will be paired with Duke and NC State on Saturday.
