“The University extends its deepest sympathies to Parker’s family and friends,”said Steven Hood, interim vice president for student affairs. “Parker was a valued member of our campus community, and he will be missed.”
Parker was an active member of the Theta Chi chapter at the University.
“Theta Chi extends its heartfelt sympathies to Parker’s family, friend, and all those affected by his loss,” said Mike Mayer, executive director of Theta Chi Fraternity International Headquarters. “Our entire membership mourns his passing and will greatly miss him.”
The Alpha Phi Chapter of Theta Chi at Alabama has been in communication with Theta Chi headquarters as well as campus officials to provide support to those mourning Parker’s loss.
