As tournament week begins, SEC teams will head to Nashville to battle for an SEC title. Here is an advanced look at where all SEC teams rank analytically against the rest of the country.
The NCAA NET rankings and quadrant wins are an analytical system used by the selection committee to help seed all teams in the NCAA tournament. All rankings are as of March 9.
Florida
The Gators currently rank No. 4 in the NET rankings while having 11 Quad 1 wins. Florida is on an 11-game winning streak and has not lost since Jan. 24.
Head coach Todd Golden had this to say about his team after a recent win over Missouri.
“Just a great last game for us here in the O’Dome. It’s been a special year for us here. Still pissed about the Auburn game, but other than that, we had a great run here. I’m really proud of the way our guys have continued to play at this level,” Golden said.
Alabama
Alabama is ranked No. 17 in the NET rankings and has seven Quad 1 wins to its name. The team has the No. 1 strength of schedule according to KenPom.
The Crimson Tide comes off a sweep of in-state rival Auburn to finish the regular season.
Head coach Nate Oats knows his team must come ready to play in the SEC tournament or they will head back home early.
“Unless an upset happens, we’ll be playing somebody we’re 0-1 against,” Oats said. “Our guys are going to have to get locked in and ready to go.”
Arkansas
Head coach John Calipari and his Razorback squad are currently No. 18 in the NET rankings while having six Quad 1 wins.
They are coming off back-to-back wins heading into this week. Arkansas will look to continue its success offensively, as it is ranked No. 6 in PPG, averaging 90.2 points per game.
Vanderbilt
Vanderbilt is now at No. 16 in the NET rankings and has picked up eight Quad 1 wins on the year.
The team is coming off back-to-back wins where it beat in-state rival Tennessee on the road to complete its regular season campaign.
Tennessee
The Volunteers are at No. 21 in the NET rankings while securing five Quad 1 wins up to this point.
Tennessee’s biggest win to date was in non-conference play when it knocked off Houston, which was the third-ranked team in the country at the time.
Texas A&M
Texas A&M is sitting at No. 43 in the NET rankings and has collected five Quad 1 wins.
This Aggies squad is averaging 88.5 points per game, which is top 10 in the country, and has back-to-back wins with its last matchup being a triple overtime win versus LSU.

They are coming off two losses and are hoping to bounce back in Nashville and make a push for an NCAA tourney bid.
Kentucky
The Wildcats are at No. 28 in the NET rankings while having five Quad 1 wins.
To finish the regular season, Kentucky has lost five out of seven games but has a very talented roster that could make noise in the SEC tournament.

Texas is sitting on the bubble in most bracket projections after dropping two games before the SEC tournament.
Oklahoma

The Sooners are currently one of the hottest teams in the SEC, winning four games in a row and looking to continue that momentum into this week.
Auburn
The Auburn Tigers are sitting at No. 38 in the NET rankings while having four Quad 1 wins.
Auburn is currently projected to be the last team in the NCAA tournament, according to ESPN.
The Tigers have lost their last eight out of ten games, including being swept by Alabama to end the regular season.
“Alabama played well. They beat us at our own game and made adjustments from the last one,” Auburn head coach Steven Pearl said. “We got pushed around, and they punked us.”
Mississippi State
Mississippi State currently ranks as No. 110 in the NET rankings and has one Quad 1 win.
It has been a disappointing season so far for the Bulldogs, losing five in a row, but they still have a chance to make a run in the SEC tournament.
South Carolina
The Gamecocks sit at No. 107 in the NET rankings and have zero Quad 1 wins.
They are coming off a win at Ole Miss and hope to continue that momentum going forward.

Having lost 12 of their last 13 games, the Rebels go into this week with nothing to lose.
LSU

Having finished last in the SEC at 3-15 in conference play, it has been a forgettable season for head coach Matt McMahon and company.
