The 2026-27 schedule has begun to take shape for Alabama men’s basketball.
The Crimson Tide’s home slate during SEC play was revealed Tuesday in a report by CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein. The team will host Arkansas, Auburn, Florida, Georgia, LSU, Mississippi State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt at Coleman Coliseum.
Rothstein also reported that Alabama will face Arkansas twice in 2026-27, alongside its two permanent opponents in Auburn and Mississippi State.
The team announced last Thursday that it will play a two-game series against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The two teams will open the series on Dec. 21 at the Casey’s Center in Des Moines, Iowa.
A return game in 2027-28 will be played in Mobile, Alabama, with a date yet to be determined.
Alabama will also face the University of Houston in the Jimmy V Classic at Madison Square Garden in New York. It is also expected that the team will face South Florida in the return leg of a home-and-home series with the Bulls.
Dates for either contest have yet to be announced, but the Jimmy V Classic has traditionally taken place in early December.
Here is what the Crimson Tide’s non-conference schedule looks like, as of Tuesday:
- Nov. 2: vs. Sam Houston
- Nov. 13: vs. Seton Hall
- Nov. 24: vs. Baylor (in Las Vegas, Players Era Festival)
- Nov. 26: vs. Gonzaga or Kansas State (in Las Vegas, Players Era Festival)
