The University will waive application fees for prospective undergraduate and graduate students during Free App Week from Monday to Friday.
All undergraduate applications submitted by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 10 will have the $40 fee waived.
The $65 fee for domestic graduate applicants and the $80 fee for international graduate applicants will be waived as well.
Prospective graduate students must fill out the Free Application Waiver Request Form by Friday, Oct. 10 at 5 p.m. to obtain a fee waiver code. Applications must be submitted with the code by Friday, and supporting documents are due Saturday, Nov. 15.
Alabama residents must have at least a 3.0 GPA to be eligible for the Graduate school fee waiver, while all other students require at least a 3.5.
According to the Graduate School, international students are only eligible for the fee waiver for the fall 2026 semester.
The application fee will not be waived if a program requires the submission of a test score such as the Graduate Record Examination, the Graduate Management Admissions Test or English proficiency scores.
