Former Alabama football standouts once again impressed across the NFL during Week Nine, recording eight touchdowns in total.
After being traded three days prior, Arizona Cardinals running back Kenyan Drake scored his first touchdown as a Cardinal while rushing for 110 yards on 15 carries. He also caught four passes for 52 yards.
Defensive back Minkah Fitzpatrick continued his streak of impressive performances as a Pittsburgh Steeler with a 96-yard interception return for a touchdown against the Indianapolis Colts. Fitzpatrick now has four interceptions in the past six games and also added seven tackles on Sunday.
Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs broke Pro Football Hall of Famer Marcus Allen’s Raiders rookie-season rushing record after rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns. Jacobs has 740 rushing yards on the season, which ranks seventh in the NFL.
Two former Alabama players, defensive back Marlon Humphrey and running back Mark Ingram, helped the Baltimore Ravens hand the New England Patriots their first loss of the season. Humphrey recovered a fumble, which he returned 70 yards for a touchdown. On offense, Ingram rushed for 115 yards and caught two passes for 29 yards.
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Amari Cooper reeled in four passes for 80 yards, including one for a 45-yard touchdown.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry scored both a rushing and a receiving touchdown and totaled 99 yards from scrimmage against the Carolina Panthers.
