Week Eight of the NFL season saw many former Alabama football standouts make an impact in various games across the league.
New England Patriots linebacker Dont’a Hightower returned a fumble 26 yards for a touchdown and also had three tackles. Hightower was the only former Alabama player to score a touchdown in Week Eight.

The Atlanta Falcons wide receiver duo of Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley helped quarterback Matt Schaub in his first game of the season, with Jones catching 10 passes for 152 yards and Ridley catching four passes for 70 yards.
Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry rushed for 75 yards on 16 carries while linebacker Rashaan Evans recorded 12 tackles in a narrow 27-23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Carolina Panthers wide receiver DeAndrew White caught his first pass of the 2019 season, which was completed for eight yards. He also returned a kickoff for 26 yards.
Continuing his impressive rookie season, Oakland Raiders running back Josh Jacobs carried the ball 15 times for 66 yards and also had two catches for 15 yards.
