The Ferguson Center offers newly released movies to students

The smell of popcorn in the air and the glow of the silver screen create an atmosphere in a movie theater that is unlike any other. However, going to the movies can be pricey. This semester, the Ferguson Center is offering students a chance to see recent releases for free and without a trip to the theater.

Throughout this fall semester, the Ferguson Theater will be hosting a Fall Movie Series for UA students every Tuesday night until Nov. 29.

All students can get into the event for free with their ACTion cards, and there are chances at winning giveaways every Tuesday night.

Each movie will be selected by a vote on the Ferguson Center’s Twitter account. The winners are announced via Twitter, as well as signage posted around the Ferguson Center.

Movies shown thus far this semester include “Captain America: Civil War,” “The Legend of Tarzan” and “Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising.” The most recent ballot posted on Twitter included “War Dogs,” “Ghostbusters,” “Suicide Squad,” and the winner, “Finding Dory.”
