Who: Hosted by the Women and Gender Resources Center and the College of Communications and Information Sciences, this event is open to anyone who is interested.

What: Black History Trivia Night

When: Wednesday, Feb. 20, from 6:30-8 p.m.

Where: Reese Phifer Hall, Room 216

This event is meant to be a “fun evening that is sure to stretch your knowledge base on the accomplishments of African Americans,” according to the UA Events website.

Although registration for the trivia night ended Feb. 18, George Daniels, assistant dean of administration of the College of Communications and Information Sciences, said students are still encouraged to come and will be able to participate the day of the event. Registering early allows for them to receive example questions that may be asked in order to prepare.

“I think the event is a good way for students to challenge themselves to see what they know and learn about African-American history,” Daniels said.
