The Crimson Tide secured a 70-60 road win over Missouri on Wednesday night, improving to 11-5 overall and 2-2 in the SEC. It was Alabama’s first conference road victory of the season.

Alabama was helped to victory by an unexpected performance from Avery Johnson Jr., who led the team with 14 points off the bench. The Crimson Tide bench was stout altogether, contributing 33 points, including Johnson Jr.’s 14. Senior Donta Hall recorded his eight double-double of the season, finishing with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Alabama will now travel to Knoxville for a showdown against No. 3 ranked Tennessee at 1 p.m. CT.
