Students to learn about effects of procrastination

Students will have the opportunity to learn about the short- and long-term effects of procrastination while simultaneously learning how to better deal with procrastination and prevent its occurrence.

What: Procrastination and You

Who: This event is hosted by the Center for Academic Success, and all students are welcome to attend.

When: Monday, Oct. 8, 7-8 p.m.

Where: Russell Hall

Why: The event is held to educate students about procrastination’s different effects and how students can recover from them.

“A lot of what I talk about is how to address and work around procrastination that can have real long-term effects on you both as a student and as a person in the future,” said Mark Hurst, a learning resource specialist for the Capstone Center for Student Success.
