The Alabama football team returned to practice Monday for the first time since its weekend defeat of Kentucky, 34-6.

The Crimson Tide has now scored seven non-offensive touchdowns this season, and five of those have been produced by the defense.

Reuben Foster led the linebackers in a variety of drills, such as shuffling around dummies on the ground, staying low during quick bursts after a simulated snap and working on snagging interceptions.

The linebackers are the only defensive group that has not made it into the end zone.

Additional Practice Notes:

  • ArDarius Stewart was seen running drills with the rest of the wide receivers. Stewart hasn’t played in a game since prematurely leaving Ole Miss with an ankle sprain.
  • The quarterbacks, including Jalen Hurts and Cooper Bateman, threw passes to the wide receivers, who ran through a different selection of routes, ranging from cross to deep shots.
  • Alabama coach Nick Saban spent the entire media-viewing period with the secondary. They primarily worked on one-on-one coverage situations.
  • The running backs, such as Damien Harris and Joshua Jacobs, were spotted on the far side of the practice field running through dummies while carrying two footballs to improve ball control.
