I can’t believe how fast this season has gone! This Friday night will be the last regular-season home meet for your No. 3 ranked Alabama Gymnastics team as we face our archrivals, No. 10 Georgia in Coleman Coliseum. This rivalry has long been one of the best in college gymnastics and is always, always an exciting, down-to-the-last-gymnast competition. It’s also senior night as we honor All-Americans Lauren Beers and Carley Sims, two of the nation’s best and most dynamic gymnasts. On top of all that, it’s also our Alabama Gymnastics Alumni Weekend and before the meet, we’ll be celebrating the 20th anniversary of the 1996 NCAA Championship and the 25th anniversary of the 1991 NCAA Championship.

Both of those championships were won right here in Tuscaloosa in front of our amazing fans in Coleman Coliseum. We’ll need our fans again this weekend for sure. We’ve had great crowds all season and you, our students, have been the engine that drove those crowds. As always, there will be lots of amazing giveaways and prizes for the student section. So, join us on Friday and bring your friends as we go for a big win against Georgia! Remember YOU are our biggest and baddest competitive advantage. Our fans drive our success, so be loud, be Crimson Tide proud and BRING IT!
