Register for 2010-11 parking

Parking registration 2010-11 is now open to all students. For detailed information about parking registration and changes, including some zone changes, for the coming year, visit bamaparking.ua.edu.

Save Alabama PACT to hold rally Thursday

All interested Prepaid Affordable College Tuition program contract holders and supporters are invited to attend a statewide rally to visit with legislators on Thursday. Statewide caravans are being coordinated to encourage travel to Montgomery, and participants will meet in front of the State House between 9-10 a.m. PACT contract holders are encouraged to wear green. Rec Center pool open

The outdoor pool at the Student Recreation Center is now open from noon to 7 p.m. each day. Students must have a valid Action Card to enter.

Books for sale at Morgan Hall

The English Graduate Organization will sell paperbacks for 50 cents, hard covers for $1 or $2 and baked goods for $1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 7 in front of Morgan Hall. Profits will help fund English graduate students in their academic and professional pursuits. Cash accepted.

Group to hold barefoot walk

The UA TOMS Campus Club will host a barefoot walk around the Quad on Thursday in conjunction with One Day Without Shoes. The walk begins at 3:30 p.m. near Denny Chimes. For more information, visit http://my.toms.com/node/936.

Summer housing available

The summer housing application is now available online through the myBama Web site. Summer housing is an easy, convenient way to stay involved in the University throughout the summer, whether enrolled in summer classes or not. All students are eligible to live on campus in the summer, as long as they are enrolled in classes for the fall. Register for fall Get On Board Day

Registration for the 2010 Fall Get On Board Day has started early. Departments can register by emailing Alex Karagas at [email protected]. Organizations can register by going to the SOURCE and under their organization’s profile click “Tools” then “Forms.” Priority registration deadline is May 7 at 4:45 p.m. and costs $15 per organization and $20 per department. The official deadline is Aug. 20 at 4:45 p.m. The cost is $20 per organization and $25 per department. Payment can be cash, check (made out to the University of Alabama) or DTA (made out to the SOURCE) and must be turned into 355 Ferguson. For questions please email Alex Karagas at [email protected].
